Creating an account & first sign-in

Most CourtPass venues let you book without a full account, but signing up gives you:

  • Faster checkout (saved payment method)
  • Booking history
  • Membership benefits (if your venue offers them)
  • A PIN you can find later if your phone dies before you arrive

Go to your venue's CourtPass page (e.g. https://joflow.courtpass.com.au) and click Sign in / Sign up in the top right.

The sign-up form asks for:

Field Required Notes
First name Yes
Last name Yes
Email Yes This becomes your login
Password Yes Minimum 8 characters

You'll be signed in automatically after creating the account.

Confirming your phone (optional but recommended)

In your Profile → Communications, add a mobile number. CourtPass texts you a 6-digit code; type it back to verify. Once verified:

  • Booking confirmations come by SMS as well as email
  • 24-hour and 2-hour reminders go to your phone
  • Customer-facing comms from the venue (schedule changes, cancellations) arrive instantly

You can opt out at any time per category — see Notifications.

Enter email + password. If your venue requires MFA on member accounts (rare), you'll also need a 6-digit code from an authenticator app.

If you forget your password, Forgot your password? at the bottom of the sign-in page sends a 1-hour reset link to your email.

Multi-venue accounts

One CourtPass account works across every venue using CourtPass. So if you book at Joflow Basketball Academy and another club running CourtPass, the same email + password signs you into both — the venues just see each other's bookings as separate.

Your profile (name, phone, password) is shared. Your comms preferences are per-venue (so you can opt out of marketing from one venue and stay opted-in to another).

Branding & subdomain

Each venue can have its own logo, accent colour, and subdomain (joflow.courtpass.com.au). The subdomain doesn't affect your account — it's the same login behind the scenes.

Common scenarios

"I never got the password reset email"

Check spam. If it's still missing after 5 minutes:

  • Confirm the email field is exactly the one you signed up with (try lowercase)
  • Re-request — old reset tokens become invalid when a new one is issued
  • If still no email, contact your venue's support — they can manually reset

"I have two accounts with different emails"

Contact the venue. They can request a merge (manual support process) so all your bookings end up under one account.

"Sign-in says invalid credentials but I'm sure they're right"

  • Confirm Caps Lock is off
  • Try the password reset flow as a sanity check
  • Some venues require email confirmation before first login — check for a "confirm your email" message in your inbox
